Our Story

Desert Rugs

Being native to our region means that carpets have been an integral part of our lives, adorning our living rooms, bedrooms, and even kitchens. They weave through the fabric of our childhood memories, with markets bursting with vibrant hues, intricate patterns, and the fragrant aroma of spices. The allure of carpet shops, brimming with colors and history, is etched deeply in our joyous nostalgia.

In the Middle East, our economy has long been driven by oil, leading me to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering and embark on a 25-year journey within the oil and gas industry. From the Far East to the Western shores of the United States, my career finally led me to the city of Aberdeen.

Yet amidst the hustle and bustle of my professional life, the memory of carpets lingered, a source of tranquiIity cherished for years. What began as a mere nostalgic interest gradually blossomed into a profound contemplation: Could the beauty and solace I found in carpets be shared with others?

A spark ignited within me, driving me to delve deeper into my passion and contemplate how it could be shared with the world.
